Please Note: The model number of your LG-Nortel telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of the phone.
These telephones have a dedicated HEADSET jack found on the bottom of the phone, next to the HANDSET jack.
When using a headset in the headset jack, the Speaker button must be used to answer and release calls. This function needs to be activated:
Press TRANS/PGM, 61, 0, Hold/Save.
Please note: this overrides the Speaker functionality (ie you cannot use the Speaker while in headset mode.
To restore Speaker mode:
Press TRANS/PGM, 61, 1, Hold/Save.
Plantronics corded:
Any H or HW series headset and a Polaris (27190-01) cable.
Plantronics CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:
Switch position 1, Transmit B, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. This can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.
Jabra corded:
Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cable.
ADD-COM corded:
Any headset and a "Blue" cord.
Sennheiser Corded:
Any headset and a CSTD01 cable.

These phones can also be set to generate a ringing signal in your headset, as well as on your phone, when you receive a call. To set this function:

GN Netcom/Jabra corded:

Jabra Pro 920, GN9350, Jabra Pro 9400 series:
The optional GN1000 Handset Lifter can also be used with these headsets. However, when using the GN1000, the headset must be connected via the handset jack not the headset jack.
