Samsung DCS / DCS 70 / DCS Compact Series PABX's

SLT-E / Economy Digital

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.

Plantronics corded:
Any H or HW series headset and an M22 amplifier. An alternative is a H or HW series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable - if this is too loud use a H or HW series headset and Polaris cable.

Plantronics Wireless CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:**
Switch position 1, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring.

Jabra/GN Netcom corded:
Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.

Jabra Wireless Jabra Pro 920, 9450, 9460, 9470

ADD-COM corded:
Any headset and an MPS switch.

Sennheiser corded:
Any headset and a CSTD 01 cable.

Samsung DCS 6B / DCS 6C / DCS 12B / DCS 24B / DS 24D Keyset / DS 24S Keyset

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.

These phones can have a headset key programmed by you. However, depending upon the PABX, this may be one of the following two methods:

• With the handset on-hook, press [TRSF] 1 1 0, then press 2 1 for headset or 2 0 for handset, then press [TRSF] to store.
• With the handset on-hook, press [TRSF] 1 1 0, then press 0 2 1 for headset or 0 2 0 for handset, then press [TRSF] to store.

The speakerphone will be disabled and the [ANS/RLS] light will be on "steady" to indicate headset is active. Use [ANS/RLS] button to answer and hangup calls

Plantronics corded:
Any H or HW series headset and an M22 amplifier. An alternative is a H or HW series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable

Plantronics Wireless CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:**
Switch position 1, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring.

Jabra/GN Netcom corded:
Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.

Jabra Wireless Jabra Pro 920, 9450, 9460, 9470

ADD-COM corded:
Any headset and an MPS switch.

Sennheiser corded:
Any headset and a CSTD 01 cable.

Samsung Falcon 8B, Falcon 18B and Falcon 28B Keysets/Phones

To fit a headset to these keysets/phones, unplug the handset and replace it with a headset and cord.

Some keysets/phones may be equipped with a Headset mode key. Press this key to toggle between headset and handset mode. Otherwise, these keysets/phones can have a headset key programmed by you:

• With the handset on-hook, press [TRSF] 1 1 0
• Then press 4 1 for headset or 4 0 for handset
• Then press [TRSF] to store.

The speakerphone will be disabled and the [ANS/RLS] light will be on "steady" to indicate headset is active. Use [ANS/RLS] button to answer and hangup calls.

Plantronics corded:
Any H or HW series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable

Plantronics Wireless CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:**

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier).

To use the headset with the phone "on-hook" program your phone as follows: Lift handset and press #151# to turn feature ON or #150# to turn feature OFF.

Plantronics:
Any H or HW series headset and an M22 amplifier.

Plantronics CS500 series or Savi series:
Switch position A, Transmit 3, Receive 2, standard telephone cord wiring.

Jabra/GN Netcom:
Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.

Samsung Digital Handsets

These digital handsets can be fitted to both the Samsung OfficeServ and DCS range of PABX's. They are all headset compatible.

64 Button Operator Console

To fit a headset to this console, simply unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

Plantronics:
Any H or HW series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable.

Plantronics CS500 series or Savi series:
Switch position A, Transmit 3, Receive 2, standard telephone cord wiring.

Jabra/GN Netcom:
Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cable.

Any headset and a "Blue" cord.

Samsung DS Series PABX

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

When using a headset, you can program the SPEAKER KEY and so avoid having to pick up your telephone handset to answer and hang up your calls. Simply:

1. Press the [Transfer] button.
2. Press [1][1][0].
3. To use the headset, press [0] [2] [1], or
4. To revert back to handset mode, press [0] [2] [0]
5. Save the selected entry by pressing the [Transfer] button
6. Then answer or end a call by pressing the [Speaker] button.

Plantronics corded:
Any HW series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable.

Plantronics CS500 series or Savi series:
Switch position A, Transmit 3, Receive 2, standard telephone cord wiring.

Plantronics wireless headsets can also use the optional HL10 Handset Lifter. However, if this lifter is used, your telephone MUST be programmed to HANDSET mode (see above programming instructions).

jabra/GN Netcom corded:
Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cable.

Jabra PRO Wireless:
Switch position A, adjust your transmission level using the +/- buttons on the base, adjust your receive level using the +/- buttons on the headset top, standard telephone cord wiring.

Jabra wireless headsets can also use the optional GN1000 Handset Lifter. However, if this lifter is used, your telephone MUST be programmed to HANDSET mode (see above programming instructions).

ADD-COM corded:
Any headset and a "Blue" cord.

Sennheiser corded:
Any headset and a CLS 01 cable.

Samsung OfficeServ Series PABX's

ITP-5121D / ITP-5114D / ITP-5107S

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

Plantronics corded:
Any H or HW series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable.

GN Netcom corded:
Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cable.

ADD-COM corded:
Any headset and a "Blue" cord.

Sennheiser corded:
Any headset and a CLS 01 cable.

ITP-5014D / ITP-5021D

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

Plantronics corded:
Any H or HW series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable.

Plantronics CS60, CS70 & SupraPlusWireless:
Switch position 1, Transmit B, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. This can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.

GN Netcom corded:
Any "direct-connect" headset and a standard cable.

ADD-COM corded:
Any headset and a "Blue" cord.

Sennheiser corded:
Any headset and a CLS 01 cable.

Samsung iDCS 8D, iDCS 18D or iDCS 28D Keysets

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier (the handset cord then plugs into the amplifier) or simply use a headset and cord to replace the handset.

These phones can have a headset key programmed by you. To do this:

1. With the handset on-hook, press [TRSF] 1 1 0, then press 0 2 1 for headset or 0 2 0 for handset, then press [TRSF] to store.
2. The speakerphone will be disabled and the [ANS/RLS] light will be on "steady" to indicate headset is active. Use [ANS/RLS] button to answer and hangup calls

Your keyset may be equipped with a Headset mode key. If it is so equipped pressing this key while the light is out will cause the keyset to enter headset mode and the light will illuminate to indicate this. Pressing the key while the light is lit will cause the keyset to return to handset mode and the light will go out.

Plantronics corded:
Any H or HW series headset and an M22 amplifier. An alternative is a H or HW series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable

Plantronics CS510, CS520, CS530 & CS540 and Savi series:
Switch position A, Transmit 2.5, Receive 2.5, standard telephone cord wiring. These can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.

GN Netcom corded:
Any "direct connect" headset and a standard cord.

ADD-COM corded:
Any headset and an MPS switch.

Sennheiser corded:
Any headset and a CSTD 01 cable.

IP Handsets - SMT-i5243, SMT-i5220, SMT-i3100

These phones have a dedicated headset port on the bottom of the phone. Use the "Headset Button" to answer and release calls.

Plantronics corded:
Any H or HW series headset and an M22 amplifier. Please note that a H series headset and an A10 Direct Connect cable WILL NOT WORK - there will be no transmission.

Plantronics CS60, CS70N, SupraPlusWireless:
Switch position 1, Transmit B, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. This can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.

Plantronics CS500 series and Savi series wireless:
