After a period of popularity, Plessey PABX's are now rarely found in Australia. This page provides information for those people who still use this old but dependable technology.
Plantronics:
Any H series headset and an M12 amplifier (Switch Setting 1, Transmit 2). These consoles require a J plug. Ensure that the handset volume is turned down and use the M12 volume (this is to prevent the headset "squealing" in your ear).

Any H series headset and an M12 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 2).

Any H series headset and an M12 amplifier (Switch Setting 1, Transmit 3). These occasionally require a U plug.

Any H series headset and an M12 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 8). An alternative can be a P series headset and Polaris cord. Please note that the wiring on these phones varies greatly. Compatibility is NOT guaranteed.
Headsets cannot be used with this Plessey phone as the handset does not have an RJ jack (i.e. it is hardwired).
