Please Note: The model number of your NEC NEAX telephone can usually be found on a label stuck on the bottom of the phone.

NEAX 2000 IPS & 2400 IPX PABX

SN 611 (2400SDS)

To fit a headset to this switchboard, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.

Plantronics:
Any HW series headset and a M22 amplifier (position 5, transmit 9)

Plantronics Wireless CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:
Switch position 1, Transmit B, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. This can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.

Jabra/GN Netcom:
Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.

ADD-COM:
Any headset and a Voyager amplifier.

HA 630Z & SN 626

To fit a headset to this switchboard, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate Two Pronged amplifier or amplifier and Two Pronged adaptor.

Plantronics:
Any HW series headset and a P10H amplifier.

Plantronics Wireless CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:
Switch position 1, Transmit B, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. This can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.

Jabra/GN Netcom:
Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.

ADD-COM:
Any headset and a Two Prong amplifier.

Dterm 1

To fit a headset to these NEC NEAX phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate headset.

Plantronics:
Any HW series headset and a Polaris cable.

Plantronics Wireless CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:
Switch position 1, Transmit B, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. This can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.

Sennheiser:
Any headset top and a CSTD01 cable. Also recommended is the headset/handset switchbox (UI 710)

ADD-COM:

Dterm 11B & Dterm 111

To fit a headset to these NEC NEAX phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier.

Plantronics:
Any HW series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 10). Ensure that the handset volume is low - use the M22 volume control (this is to prevent squealing)

Switch position 1, Transmit B, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. This can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.

Telephones DT300 Series (DT310, DT330)and DT700 Series (DT710, DT730 & DT750

To fit a headset to these NEC NEAX phones, simply plug into the dedicated headset jack.

Please Note: You must program one of the Programmable Keys on your phone to act as a headset key.

To do this, leave the handset on your phone and:

1. Find a suitable FREE key by pressing each in turn until your display shows "not defined"
2. Press "Speaker" button
3. Press 751
4. Press the key chosen in step 1 above
5. Press 05 to give it HEADSET status

To make calls using your headset, simply press this HEADSET button. To hang up calls, press it again.

Plantronics:
Any HW series headset and an A10 amplified cable.

Plantronics CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:
Switch position 1, Transmit B, Receive 3, standard telephone cord wiring. This can also be used with the optional HL10 Handset Lifter.

To fit a headset to these phones, unplug the handset and replace it with the appropriate amplifier or wireless headset base. The handset cord then plugs into the amplifier/base.

Plantronics corded:
Any HW series headset and an M22 amplifier (Switch Setting 5, Transmit 8) OR any P series headset and an NEC ADA-J headset adaptor.

Plantronics CS540, CS510, CS520, CS530, CS Legend & Savi 710, 720, 730, 740:

CS 500 or Savi Series:
Switch position A, Transmit 3, Receive 3.
For remote answer/release use the Plantronics HL10 handset lifter.

GN Netcom:
Any headset and a GN 8000 amplifier or GN 8210 digital amplifier.

ADD-COM:
Any headset and a Voyager amplifier OR any headset with an NEC ADA-J headset adaptor.
